Patrick Putzker
I'm a filmmaker based in Chiang Mai, Thailand. I spent years building a life around creative discipline - training Muay Thai, traveling with a camera, building businesses, and documenting all of it.
I don't make tools to sell tools. I make them because they're part of how I work, and I'd rather share what actually works than keep it to myself.
FAQ
a LUT (lookup table) is a file that transforms the color of your footage - think of it as a saved color grade you can apply with one click. my LUTs are designed to give your footage a specific cinematic look, not to correct technical issues.

yes. the rec.709 LUTs are designed specifically for standard footage including iphone, android, and any mirrorless camera not shooting in log.
apply the PP SLog3 Conversion LUT first, then stack the color or noir LUT on top. this two-step workflow is explained in the included tutorial PDF. do not apply the look LUT directly to log footage - it will not look correct.
color is my main cinematic look - warm shadows, filmic tones, crushed blacks. noir is the same underlying grade converted to black and white, optimized for contrast and skin texture. both are built from the same visual language.
every shot is different. LUTs apply the same transformation to every clip, so proper exposure before applying the LUT matters. if a clip is overexposed, underexposed, or shot in mixed light, you will need to adjust first. a LUT is the last 10% - get the other 90% right first.
